| Notes | Researching the family of my paternal grandfather, Andrew Pacek, b. approx. 1880 in Galicia (probably Sanok or vicinity). Immigration to US was in 1900, with first firm documentation in historical records showing him in Pittsburg in 1905, and subsequently working as a miner in western Pennsylvania. There may be ties to Paceks living in Connecticut at roughly the same time. |
