Jacob Cetera (later changed to Ceder/Cedar) was born in the Tarnov area, possibly in Blonie, in 1866 or 1867. His mother was Agathe (born between 1828-1832) and possibly remarried a man named Chebsina (?). They came to New York in July 1883 aboard SS Rhaetia which departed from Hamburg. Agathe had a total of nine children, but Jacob is the only one I know of. His father's name was Bartholomew or Bartholomeus. They traveled with the family of John Hebda and all settled in Nebraska, USA. I am hoping to find out about my Cetera family.
