Tour Service Offer

Each tour is a unique experience but there are some core components of our service that we will always provide for you:

1. Making a plan of the Tour. The plan is made together with you on the basis of your expectations and information (what do you know so far about your ancestors - name, place and a date are usually enough for a start) provided by you before the start of the tour. We will provide basic genealogy research which can include: availability of records, the names of parishes, Civil Record Offices, cemeteries and towns/villages we suggest to visit to look for your family traces as well as initial search for living relatives.

2. Accompanying and guiding you throughout the journey.

3. Doing oral and written translations.

4. Contacting, negotiating and establishing relationships with local civil and church officials to perform genealogy research as well as learn about local history of the places.

5. And... we are always flexible and open to your suggestions and expectation. This is your Tour!

Forefathers Traces Tours Blog

If you want to record and relate your Forefathers Traces Tour we would be happy to do this together with you in our Blog. We believe it may be an interesting experience not only for you, who have the luck to visit yours fathers’ homeland personally, but also for those who are not able to do this now, but are planning to make a trip in the future, or just want to see what others have experienced. One more advantage of "blogging" your Tour... your friends and relatives who stayed at home will always be up-to-date on what you are doing :-). (BTW, we provide our clients access to the Internet through our laptop, even if there is no wi-fi network available, so you can check your e-mails and even phone via Skype.)

Of course, you may not want to write a Blog. This is not obligatory in any way and it doesn't influence any other terms of the main service. The decision is yours.

Costs

• Cost of Forefathers Traces Tour Service for up to three persons - 500 Polish zloty (PLN) per day. (Groups of more than 3 people are also welcomed, just contact us for details).

• Additional costs: lodging and meals for the guide, car rental and fuel.

To book the Tour we ask you for a prepayment of  10% of the whole amount made via PayPal. We are PayPal Business Verified.
