For Trishsa:

These last two are very difficult to read, but here is what I think they say:

Todorowicz, 44, 15, 12, 13 1880, February 13, in the Nowotroks Roman Catholic parish church, baptized children named MICHAL and ANNA [?], by Fr. [illegible] with full rites. Parents are farmers from community of [illegible]. Piotr and Michalina [?] nee [illegible], Todorowicz, legal marriage, son and daughter born this month and year, February 12, village of [illegible]. Two sets of godparents are listed, Kazimierz [illegible] and Katarzyna [illegible], single, then Michal [illegible] and [illegible], husband and wife.

-#-

Todorowski, 41, 27, _, 6, 10. 1880, February 10, in Nowotroks Roman Catholic parish church, baptized a child named ISIDOR, by Fr. [illegible] with full rites. Parents are farmers from the community of [illegible], Jan and Maryanna nee Kowalska [?] Todorowski, legal marriage, a son, born this year and month, 6th day, village of [?]. Names of godparents are illegible, except they are [illegible] Todorowski, husband and wife.

Sorry I cannot do better!

I will also post a document from when my mom was in a Nazi Prison....her last name is Kuklis but on the Nazi Document it shows her last name as Kuklisowana or something similar she is the third person on the top list. I added one last document, Mom is number 823(Kuklisowana)......I don't understand why it shows Kuklisowana instead of Kuklis.....

Kuklisowna - According to the Polish Roots website http://www.polishroots.org/Research/SurnameSearch/Surnamesendings/tabid/118/Default.aspx "In standard Polish -owa or -ewa indicates a married woman, and -ówna/-ewna an unmarried one. As I said, Jankowiczowa is Mrs. Jankowicz, but Jankowiczówna is Miss Jankowicz; Kowalewa = Mrs. Kowal, Kowalewna = Miss Kowal. In records we often see -ówna/-ewna forms as maiden names." So Kuklisówna means she is Miss Kuklis.

Also with the typed documents - you can put the text into Google Translate to get a fairly decent translation. Then if something is not clear, you can ask for clarification here.

It looks like you've gotten some good information already - your mother was named for her mother who apparently died, perhaps in childbirth, since your grandfather remarried not that long after your mother was born.

Good luck with the search for living relatives. Since a cousin was still living in the 1980s and looking for your mother, there likely are other relatives still living in the area. ~PL

Please translate the two records of birth. I believe that one is the record of my grandmother, Josefa Sokolowska, and the other of her brother, Franciszek.

Thanking you in advance for your efforts.

The rite of marriage was concluded by the rector of the Topolcze Orthodox parish, Priest [Father] Ioann Grigoriewski.
