Attached is 1905 marriage record of who I believe is my 1G GF Jan Lopuszynski, his 2nd marriage after 1st wife Katarzyna died in 1904. Parish is Kikol near Lipno.

I have translated both of the entries on this page because they illustrate some of the processes that were occurring at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries.

No. 339. Completed in the city of Petrowka on 22 December/4 January, 1903/4, at 3:00 PM. Appeared Mindla Herszlikowicz, midwife, age 60, residing in the city of Petrowka, in the presence of Lewek Abramson, prive scribe, 49, and Pinkus rajtberger, merchant, 42, residing in the city of Petrowka, and presented us with a female child, declaring that she was born in the city of Petrowka on 15/27 September, 1898, at 8:00 AM at the home of the deceased Sziem Kaczka and his legal wife Brandla nee Grinszpan, 29. The child was named NACHA. The delay in presentation for this registration was the result of the death by illness of the father. This act read and signed as below.

The child was named ZELMAN. The delay to present for registration was caused by the absence of the father. This act read and signed as below.

The three times proclaimed announces of marriage were published in the local parish church, specifically on 29 December/10 January, 5/17, and 12/24 January of the current year at 11:00 AM. The newlyweds declared that they had concluded no prenuptial agreement. The ceremony of marriage was concluded today by us. This act read and signed only by me. Fr. A.
