| Notes | Antoni Slowik (born February 23, 1850 in Bratkowka) married Tekla Slowik and had the following children: 1) Josef - January 24, 1874 2) Marianna - January 14, 1876 3) Stanislaw - March 9, 1879 4) Tomasz - December 2, 1881 5) Katarzyna - November 13, 1884 6) Jan - December 27, 1889 7) Franciszek - April 23, 1892 8) Piotr - May 16, 1894 9) Wojciech/Albert - December 2, 1896 Antoni Slowik was son of Jozef Slowik and Anna Piekos. Tekla Slowik was saughter of Szymon Slowik and Katarzyna Wilk. Anna Piekos was daughter of Marcin Piekos and Joanna Cebula. Child #1: Josef, immigrated 17 June 1892 via Ellis Island, departing Amsterdam Port on ship Dubbledam. Josef married Carolina Cygan on 11 September 1893 at St. Stanislaus Church, Chicopee, Massachusetts, USA. Carolina Emigrated from Bajdu, Poland, in 1892. Josef and Carolina had 11 children. Josef and Carolina are my husband's great grandparents. Child #2: Marianna - immigrated to New York City Child #3: Stanislaw/Stanley - immigrated and married Maria Strobinski 27 November 1900 at St. Stanislaus Church in Chicopee. They had 5 children. Child #4: Tomasz died 23 Jun 1182 in Bratkowka Child #5: Katarzyna immigrated and married Ludwig Jendruzik on 7 November 1905 at St. Stanislaus Church in Chicopee. Child # 6 & 7: unknown Child #8: Piotr/Peter - immigrated 28 June 1910 to New York City, USA, and living in Bronx, New York in 1930. Married to Frances about 1915. Child # 9: unknown There is a Walter Slowik identified with same parents, Antoni and Tekla Slowik, who married at St. Stanislaus Church in Chicopee on 5 November 1907. but no baptismal record on him found in Bratkowka. |
