My grandfather Josef Podczerwinski was born in Podczerwone and came to the US around 1909, and married my grandmother Ursula Domon from Straszydle, in 1912 in Chicago. He had a much younger brother Ludwik Podczerwinski, born approx 1914 who came to live in Chicago with his wife Elizabeth for awhile. I know Ludwik and Elizabeth had at least one son named Josef and by 1949 had 2 daughters. Ludwik and Elizabeth returned to Poland, I believe to Zakopane. I heard that my mom's cousin Joe Podczerwinksi stayed, and had a bakery in the 1950's in Chicago, but may have also movedback to Poland with his family as well. My sis is visiting Poland, and some of our Domon 2nd cousins in SE Poland in May. We would love to find some Podczerwinski relatives. My grandfather Josef and his brother Ludwik's Podczerwinski's mother was named Rosalia and father was Michal. I think they also had a sis named Nellie (Aniela) who stayed in the US.
