So far I have found out that my great grandparents were both from Pultusk, Church Parish of Zegrze, Warsaw Province in Poland. My great grandmother, Antonina Zawadzki (Slubowska) was born approximately 1885 in this area and my great grandfather, Alexander Zawadzki, was born on October 10, 1880. In the early 1900s (around 1911) Alexander immigrated through New York City and eventually settled in Syracuse, New York. I do not have a definitive date of when they were married nor do I have any information regarding their parents and/or possible siblings. |
