Researching surnames of Szymanski, Petryna, Kubka, Kisczynska and Dziewiczkiewicz. I do not speak Polish, but I have managed to complete six generations of my Polish ancestry. I have hit a brick wall trying to get through the seventh generation. My father's family was from Tomaszow Lubelski. His father was Kazmieriz. Kazmierez, his wife (Antonina Petryna) and four children emigrated to Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA somewhere between 1908 and 1914. Kaz and Anna had three more children in the U.S. They joined many other families who emigrated from Tomaszow Lubelski around the 1900's. I am not very technical so I often don't know what to do when I get on a genealogical website. Any help from anybody in finding my family relationships would be greatly appreciated. The family tree I have completed to date is also on Wikitree, Szymanski-50. I know I have living relations in Poland. I just don't know their names or where they live today and have had no luck in finding them. |
