It is dec 2010. I started doing a genealogical map of the whole village of Luzna Poland a couple of months ago. My grandmother was a Cwiklik from Luzna. There were many Cwiklik women who married into other families. I found it best to map out the whole village. I have also been trying to map all surnames I have found in Luzna to immigration records to America and Canada. It is now 2016. 6 years since my first posting. I now have most of Luzna, Szalowa, Mszanka, Wola Luzanska and some of Moszczenica in my database. I have over 25,000 people and 6,800 marriages. All of these people are either blood related or connected through a marriage in my family tree. WOW!!! I have been recording entries from microfilm found on the Mormon Family History Center FamilySearch.org I have shared my information with 100+ people including 30+ people living in Poland. As I do not understand Polish, I use translate.google.com to communicate with them. Some know enogh English to be understood ; others also use translate.google.com. It seems to work! I find the Polish people by trolling family trees on MyHeritage.com. I troll Ancestry.com for those that came to USA. I also use Familysearch.org for those that came to USA. |
