I'm looking for my Olejniczak ancestors who came from Gorzyce, which was in parafija Biechowo, powiat Wrzesnia, but seems to no longer exist as an individual village. My third great grandfather Bartlomiej Olejniczak (born about 1814, died unknown) and his brother Andrzej also lived in Czeszewo Wrzesnia circa mid 19th century. Their father Carol Olejniczak was born 5 Nov 1772 in Gorzyce to Caspar and Petronella, and died in Gorzyce 10 Dec 1844. I am descended from Bartlomiej's son Wawrzyniec Olejniczak who married Rozalia Nowaczyk on 13 Oct 1877 in Elzbietow, powiat Nowe Miasto n. Warta. He immigrated to Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA in 1884; she followed in 1887 with their sons Michael and Andrzej. I'm also looking for my Marcinkowski ancestors from Miniszew, parafija Kretkow, powiat Jarocin and Lewandowski ancestors from Bedzitowo, parafija Lisewo Koscielne, powiat Inowroclaw. Stanislawa Lewandowski immigrated to Scranton with her parents Marcin and Katarzyna and sister Antonina in 1892, and was known as Stella by the time she married Andrew Olejniczak. |
