Research notes I am primarily trying to trace the origins of Peter Fecyk b 1870 (maybe 1864) in Maniów, a tiny village in the administrative district of Gmina Komańcza, within Sanok County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies south-east of Komańcza, south of Sanok, and south of the regional capital Rzeszów.  Peter was married to Anna (maybe) FECIOW from Wola Michowa just up the road.

It was recently discovered in our family that Peter had a half-brother named DIMITRO EVANOYKO who was born in 1864.  He became a Unaite (Greek Orthodox) Reverend and settled in Pennsylvannia, USA while Peter made a family in Syracuse, New York, USA.
