Henriette Kowalsky age 35 with 5 year old son Johann Residence place: Samoczyn, Preußen Immigration in 1869. Emilie Melisch age 26 Am I correct in my thinking the actual and current towns they resided in is Szamocin Poland? Spellings of the Americanized surname Malish vary according to various documents. I've seen it spelled Melish, Melisch, Mellish, Mahlish, malisch. How would the original Polish name be spelled? Still trying to find immigration record for Caroline Goralska born about 1816. Immigration was 1872 or 1873. Most like immigration records would say Melisch. |
