My great-grandparents both immigrated from Poland/Russia in the early quarter of the 20th century. My surname is Klejbuk and I am trying to locate it's origin and meaning. I have records of my great-grandfather, Julian, showing that he understood English before moving to the USA so I'm not sure if Klejbuk was Americanized or not. I found his WWI records stating that he was from Mashicha. Kachnowski is my great-grandmother's maiden name but I do not know where she is from. |
