I am a the daughter of a Stanek, and have been trying trying to track my family line. I am new to online searching again, mainly as I had never found any information on my family names! Stanek - Tetlak on mothers side. John & Frances Stanek immigrated with son Stanley in 1907 from Poland, but cannot yet find past this solidly. They went on to have many more children. I recently found this website and hope it holds promise... I also have paternal lines that family did not feel the need to track, and they were also immigrants, so I am finding and learning as I go, and welcome help from anywhere. |
