Greatly interested in finding information regarding ancestors of my grandfather and his brother, Jan (or Johan) and Josef Maciaszek (there seem to be many different spellings, such as Masiaszek) who came to the U.S. in 1899 and 1891, respectively. Their immigration papers indicate they were born in Grybow in 1866 and 1867, respectively. I've searched the Grybow church records available through LDS but was unable to find anything other than the name "Joannes Maciaszek" whom I think was a priest as he signed some of the entries. My grandfather, Jan, married Anna Kohor who we were told was an orphan. I believe she came to the U.S. in 1902.
