I have always wondered EXACTLY where my all my great grandparents on my mother's side actually grew up. A few of those grandparents came to the United States as children, even though I only found the immigration arrival data for one of them I have one death certificate, for Boleslaw Ruszkowski and his draft registration card copy from the internet. I do not have anything except the photographs of their headstones here in the US. My mother passed away in 2007 and I have an aunt still alive. The data I do have listed on these greats is a direct result of whatever contributions she could make. She was a child when all of them died so she barely remembered them. With my mother, went the historical aspect of our family, and I want to rekindle that curi8osity. I have been on ancestry.com website since 2008 but have found very little information as to where, in Poland, these people ACTUALLY came from and lived. I attempted to find data when I was visiting in Germany this year, but I could not read the language, so, I must resort to help. I have my family tree on Ancestry listed as "Brame Family Tree", because that was my maiden surname. I just cannot get anywhere beyond what my aunt has furnished me, and that isnt much to go by.
