I am new to the field of researching my family name, i'd like to know the origins of my mother's and Father's surnames. I don't have too many records my self, they only go as far back as my Great grandparents on my mother's side. My mother (Pieklo) came to the United States with her brothers and sisters sometime in the 1960s. My father (Budny) still lives in Poland, in Szczecin to be exact. Regardless I am looking for the origins and meanings (and possible heraldry) of my family surnames. |
