My Grandmother, Julia Forys, came over to America when she was about 10 years old with her Mother, Anna Forys. The Ellis Island record I found says that they were coming to Josef Forys who was their Father/Husband. Anna and Julia's last place of residence is listed as Yanuszkowice. I have no record so far as to when my Grandfather, Frank Szarek, came to America. His name may have been spelled as Frank, Franciszek or another similar spelling. Frank Szarek was born on 24 Dec 1893 or 1894.
