Both families originated in Germany and Poland. Both immigrated to Minnesota and eventually Blaise Wallak (Wolak) married Hedwig (Hattie) Bienik. Blaise died in the Dakotas and Hedwig died in Minneapolis, MN. They had 16 living children and they spread out over many of the states. I would guess we are now looking at the fourth or fifth generation of descendants although the original children are all deceased, numerous first cousins survive. And, I know only one family of them! It would be a pleasure to correspond with anyone with ties to these families whether by blood or just knowing about them. |
