My 3rd GreatGrand Father Stanislaw George Konopacki left Poland in 1859 with his wife Margaretha Konopacki (Piechowska). Records show that they had 8 children. The family was in the village of Rabycken (?) . The source of this came from Catholic Church records of the city of Berent (Polish= Koscierzyna) They traveled from Germany by boat to Canada then on to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.U.S.A. Then by boat up to the FOX Valley area, then by foot to Portage County, Wisconsin, Township of Sharon, Ellis. I am looking for my Polish cousins in Poland as my Uncles before my have tried and fail well before the WWW. and DNA. and maybe facebook. |
