Searching for background on Jan Napora and Magdalena Napora. My paternal grandfather, Frank Napora, was born in America (Buffalo, New York). Frank's father was Jan Napora b. 7/11/1870 in Tuszyma, and he arrived in America in 1905. Frank's mother was Magdalena Napora b. ~1876 in Rydzow. I have found record of her passage through Ellis Island with their young son Tedrej Napora (called Andrew Napora in America) and daughter Bronislawa in 1909. She listed their nationality as Austrian, their ethnicity as Polish, and last residence as Ruda, Galicia. It would be very nice to learn Magdalena's maiden name. |
