I am researching my greatgrandparents, Augustus Kotlowski and Marianne Kestine who sailed from Hamburg, Germany in 1872 for New Zealand on the Freideburg. They settled in German Bay, Akaroa, New Zealand. One of their sons who was born in New Zealand was John Thomas Kotlowski. He is my grandfather and his daughter, Angela Denise Kestine Kotlowski is my mother (married name Kelly). |
