I am very interested in my last name Luchkowec. I am pretty certain the current spelling is incorrect and would really love to have some background on what others feel the true surname is or the original spelling. I have limited ancestral records, but they do point to my great grandfather being from Galicia and speaking Ukrainian. The last name appears to be more polish versus ukrainian, but none of my family have any idea. Any information would be very appreciated!! |
