My grandparents were born in Zabsuche and Zakapone, Poland. They immigrated to the US in the early 1900's settling in Windber, Pennsylvania and in about 1920 to Stafford, Connecticut My great-grandparentsswere: Jan Franciczek Galica & Agnes Galica (maiden name unknown. Jan Franciczek was born in 1860 and died in 1938. Agnes died in 1958 (birth date unknown). They had 11 children including my grandfather: John Francis that was born in Zabsuche on 15 Aug 1889. John Francis married Sophia Agnes Naglack, born Nowy Targ 15 MAy 1891, died in USA 1 JAn 1941. Her parents were Matthew (Henry?) Naglack and Mary Naglack from Poronin ,Zabsuche or Zakapone. Any information regarding these familys would be most appreciated. |
