I was searching for a birth certificate for my father and his twin sister. My dad had passed away years before, but his twin was still alive at 92 years old. She could not tell me where in Poland they were born, never having seen a birth certificate. After years of searching and being inspired to do my genealogy search with the information I had been gathering I finally found it in a small village. Showing this to her and seeing her reaction was priceless. Not only did I continue my genealogy search, but I found long lost family in the same village. I have visited them in Poland 3 times and plan on returning again next year.
