My Great Grandfather, Wicenty Niedźwiecki, was born (12 Jul 1892) in Szczebrzeszyn, Poland. He immigrated to America, arriving (New York) 10 May 1910, aboard the ship SS Noordam. He died 23 Jul 1972 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Sadly, that's pretty much all I know. My family say that he was a mean drunk, and used to beat his kids. His wife, my Great Gradmother (Marie Mudrak) died from an infection she contracted from a botched abortion conducted by my Great Grandfather. |
