Searching for information about my matarnal grandfather Wojciech (Albert) Jez. Name changed when he came to the U.S. about 1900 to Jezewicz. He served in the Austrian army sometime in the late 1800's. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker by trade. Romor has it that he was born in Hungary but that's not certain. He married Rozalia (Rose) Jez (cousin) when she came to the U.S. in early 1900's. Settled in Buffalo, New York USA |
