My grandfather was born on a barge coming to America in the 1920s. He died when I was 7, and I never got the chance to ask him about our family history. My grandma developed dementia soon after his death that only got worse. Trying to trace my family tree has been difficult. I have been told that I have relatives that died in the Holocaust, but I have yet to identify who they were. My hope is to discover who I am and where I have come from via my heritage. |
