Today I received an e mail introducing the genealogists with polish origins. I was wondering if I might be able to get some help finding records for my family? My Grandfather was born in 1911 and baptized at the church in the link below. His name was Stanislaw Jachym. Upon arrival to the United States in 1921 his last name took the spelling Jackym. His father was Michael Jachym, who went to war in 1918, I believe, and never heard from again. Michael or Michals parents were Agata Dziadosz me piotr Jachym. My grandfathers mother was Karolina Koptyra or Koptera. I believe she was from Turbia. Any help would be appreciated since I speak or read no Polish at all.
