My grandfather, Samuel Zaikowski and his wife, Sally came to the United States before WWI. And settled in the New York City/Long Island area. My mother, Olga, was born in New Hyde Park, just east of Queens. They may have come from Warsaw and probably have anglicized their name. Don't have any other informations so far. Interest on find information about where in Poland they can from and their ancesterors and relatives. I think many relatives may have perished in WWII.
