I haven't done much research, but my brother has, and also a cousin. From my cousin's info, I was trying to follow through the female side of my background, after looking at the National Geographic Genographic project's report on the female DNA track of my ancestors. My sister had submitted samples to track her DNA, which would be the same as mine for this purpose. The group we belonged in was more heavily concentrated in western europe, and yet we are ethnically polish. So I decided to look at my mothers female lineage. My grandmother's maiden name is Anna Figus, and her mother's name is Aniela Las (maiden). I'm interested in finding more information on Aniela.
