My Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother are natives of Poland from before the second world war. Their names, Ryszard and Zofia are important to me, as I am a member of their Legacy. I consider myself Polish and wish to find the families they were forced to abandon. Ryszard was from a wealthier part of Szamocin and fought in Europe, Africa, and Italy. Zofia was an underground agent and was forced to work as a maid for an SS officer in Dachau. Both moved to the UK together and had three children. However, Ryszard had a family before the war that no one knows. I want to find them, and reconnect.
