MY Father and Mother came over from Poland in the early 1920's . Dad came over with his Father , Gabriel Pekelnicki and his sister Maria. I am not sure of what my Grandfather did or where he settled in America or if he went back to Poland. No information on him is available at this time. Aunt Mary or Maria apparently ended up in Detroit married to a Steve (sp) Mintus. They had several children, including 4 girls. Patricia, Mary, Beatrice or Bernice and the last, I don't remember as I was young at the time of her death. I did have the pleasure of meeting Patricia when she lived in Birmingham, AL. Dad died in January of 1962 at Erie, PA . |
