I'm researching the birthplaces of my grandfather -- John (Jan) Swider and grandmother -- Mary (Marya) Kubacka. Both emigrated from somewhere in Galicia. we've been told their village was near Tarnow. He had a sister Eva who also emigrated in 1907 and became a School Sister of Notre Dame. She had a brother who emigrated. His name was Frank. My grandfather was born ~1893 and arrived ~1912. My grandmother was born 23 April 1893 and arrived ~1913. Appreciate any help! |
