Hi,
The translation follows:

It happened in the village of Lipniki, on October 6th/19th, 1900, at 9 a.m.
Appeared Jan Lis, 60 years old and Józef Kisiel, 48 years old, both farmers living in Lipniki and they declared that in Lipniki, yesterday, at 10 p.m., died Józef Zduńczyk, 56 years old, a farmer, living in Lipniki, a son of the late Franciszek and Ewa née Marchewka, the Zduńczyk spouses. He left behind his widowed wife, Katarzyna Zduńczyk née Madrak.
After convinced myself about the death of Józef Zduńczyk, this act was read to the illiterate declarants, and it was signed by Us only.

I would appreciate it if someone can tell me the meaning of the occupations of the two witnesses in the attached image. The rest of the marriage document is in Latin, only the two occupations are in Polish. The first one appears to be właść[iciel] realności and the second wł[aśćiciel] real[ności] - which are the same.

Google translates this as "owner of property". I am curious why this was not written in Latin as words were available to convey this.

Thank you
Chris

realność: a noun describing a real estate, a building or land with a specific owner.
So właściciel realności means: owner of real estate.
I can't explain why it was written in polish.
