Hi!

I am having my great-grandparents marriage license from Cook County, Chicago 1918 translated into Polish!
However, the translator, and I are having trouble reading the name of the priest.

For context, this wedding was June 1 1918 at St, Adalbert's Parish in Chicago, I am waiting for the archdiocese archive department to return the church record of marriage, which will hopefully solve the problem but maybe some of you sleuths know this name![/img]

It looks to me like Rev. Thomas M Sampolinski. It is written in two places, so looking at both, that is what I make it out to be.

The priest is Rev. Thomas M. Sampolinski. St. Adalbert was the 1st Polish parish on the South Side of the city. The parish had a very large number of parishioners. In 1918 the pastor was Kazimierz Gronkowski. Sampolinski was one of several assistant priests assigned to the parish to assist Fr. Gronkowski. When Sampolinski died in 1953 he was the pastor of Ascension of Our Lord Parish in Evanston, Illinois.
