I am currently researching the clothmaking amily Hübner. The earliest known ancestor was Johann Daniel Hübner who was a master clothmaker and burgher of Budsin (Budzyń). The only record that mentions him is his son's marriage record in 1783. His son was Gottfried Benjamin Hübner who was born around 1753. The first known mentions of him in records was in the church records of Rogasen around 1777 as a Godfather in a luthrean church. He married in 1783 to Anna Dorothea Priebe in Kornik. They had a daughter in Kornik until moving to Zaniemysl circa 1785. They had some more children. He wound up dieing at the age of 55 in 1809 in Zaniemysl. He also had a younger brother, Daniel Bernhardt Hübner. Not a lot is known about him except for being listed as being payed by this older brother Gottfried in the School Lists.

If someone could find more about who Johann Daniel Hübner was, that would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Lucas Kernan
