I'm generally adept at this, but that one is so bad I couldn't improve it. I converted it to GIF and to JPG and even
Photoshop couldn't do much. I got it darker, but it's just as unreadable.
It looks like you got it from the EZB in Berlin? Write them and explain how it's so bad. Ask if *THEY* can send you
a readable copy. They never sent me PDF files in the past, and I'm wondering if their process is out-of-whack.
You may also be able to find a professional photorestorer with better software that can handle it.
Sorry
Bob

Post subject: Other possible siblings of my grandmother
Hello again,
Would you be able to translate a couple more records for me? They are birth records for Pauline Grenke and Ottilie Grenke; am hoping to determine if they are more siblings of my grandmother.
Please let me know if they are readable. Thank you.

Post subject: D1875 CE5 SOFINOWSKA, Marianna
Please would you translate this death entry from the 1875 Suwalki Evangelical register into English? I'm especially interested in Marianna's age and the date of death (which I think could be a considerable time before the death was registered).
Many thanks,
Bronwyn.

Staripolak64,
Thank you very much for all of your time and effort in providing these Russian translations.
The several Russian documents that I have obtained in the early to mid 2000's, I was able to have them translated, and the appreciation is difficult to really express in words.
To finally receive a new document pertaining to your family is wonderful, but to understand what is written, definitely is cause for celebration!
You have brought a great deal of joy to many members at Polish Origins, and we " Thank You " for your kindness.
James

This occurred in the village of Wilczyn on14/26 September 1868 at 8:00 AM. There appeared Josef Shpektsinski [Szpektsinski? ], harness maker/saddler from the village of Karelkovo [Karelkowo?], age 33, in the presence of Phillip Palaszynski and Lavrentii [Wawrzyniec] Skowronski, both farmers residing in the village of Karelkowo, both age 50, and presented us with a male infant which they declared was born in Karelkowo on 11/23 of this month and year at 2:00 am of his legal wife Antonina nee Dravetski [?], 25. At the rite of Holy Baptism conducted today, this infant was given the name of Waclaw [Vatslav]. Sponsors were Andrei Stefanski and Ludowika [remainder cut off]
Hope this helps.

Hello,
This copy of the document is just enough out of focus, that I just cannot make out many of the details. If you could get a clearer copy, I would be happy to try again!
Best Regards,
Ryszard
