To this day, many people still travel here, to visit his grave.

Szczawnica lies in the Pieniny Mountains.  You are going to begin today with the Dunajec river rafting. In Pieniny, the Dunajec river meanders between limestone rocks that reach about 300 metres (almost 1000 feet) above sea level. In spite of the stunning nature there is also a cultural aspect of this trip: traditional, wooden canoes steered by a group of Highlander people called ?flisacy?. They have been rafting with tourists, here in Dunajec, since the 19th century. Later, our road to Podhale will lead through picturesque roads with views to Czorsztyn lake and the Tatra mountains.  In the late afternoon, you will enjoy dinner in one of Zakopane restaurants, accompanied with live Gorals band music.
