Zenon Znamirowski (CEO and Founder of PolishOrigins) was our Tour Leader and driver for our custom 10-day tour: Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Toruń, Gdańsk, Malbork, Płock (Catholic Shrine of the Divine Mercy), Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny and back to Warsaw. Zenon and our local guides made our trip beyond memorable!! The local guides were very interesting, passionate and truly enjoyed their jobs. Before starting each tour, they asked us what we wanted to see and accommodated our requests. Therefore, this was not a rigid/structured tour but an interactive and flexible tour which was very much appreciated and informative. You could tell that it was more than just a job as their enthusiasm was genuine.
The location of all the boutique hotels was perfect, we were right in the city center, had amazing views, and could walk to nearby restaurants while taking in the local culture.
Words cannot describe how thorough, detailed and PROMPT all of our communications were throughout the entire experience! I cannot imagine any other tour company could exceed the superior customer experience delivered by Polish Origins. Furthermore, I would like to say that my wife and I have traveled extensively in our lives, including all 50 states in the US, and many countries across the globe. We have traveled on our own and utilized multiple well-known tour companies. Without doubt, Polish Origins has been our best all-around travel experience.

The tour of the ancestral land was truly a memorable experience thanks to the expertise of Zbigniew. He knew exactly where to go to search for records, places to visit and how to find living relatives. He was also very personable, easy to talk to, and was fun to travel with. We appreciated his patience and his translations when we were visiting with our newly found Polish relatives. Everything that we hoped to accomplish was indeed accomplished. Meeting and spending time with living relatives that we didn’t even know existed was the best part of our tour. Thank you so much for being able to accommodate us on such a short notice.

Zbigniew was wonderful. He not only researched the materials I provided, but did his own digging. He was very familiar with the areas we needed to visit, and he helped us with cemeteries and churches. The most amazing thing was how he was able to facilitate communication with people – we met many family members, and made connections that I never could have imagined. Our guides were amazing. They were so knowledgeable, they taught us so much history, and they were fun.
I was nervous at first being that our group consisted of eight children from ages 6 to 14. Three sets of parents and Babcia. Everybody was able to keep up and enjoyed what we were doing.
