As the 2024 season draws to a close, we’re excited to share the highlights from a year filled with discovery, connection, and heartfelt moments. Together, we’ve uncovered hidden histories, forged emotional connections, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
2024 by the Numbers:
When the touring season concludes in two weeks with our last guests coming back home, we will have:
- Spent 301 days on the road, exploring Poland and uncovering its hidden gems,
- Covered over 54,000 kilometers (33,555 miles) across the country, from the Carpathian mountains in the south to the Baltic coast in the north,
- We welcomed more than 120 guests, all of whom experienced their own unique, customized tours with guides and genealogists dedicated just to them.
We also received an outstanding 9.89 score out of 10, reflecting our commitment to excellence in service and guest satisfaction!

I thought I had located many records already, and had done research on the small villages where my ancestors had lived, so I went into my PolishOrigins tour with rather low expectations of simply walking through my ancestral homelands with a Polish-speaking guide. On the contrary, our guide (and genealogist) was able to locate records that we had no idea even existed, to peel back multiple layers of history for us, and to actually change our perception of the origins of our family.
