…I just wanted to add my own thanks for the wonderful trip you and your team organized for us. It was an extraordinary experience, and I am so grateful for the thought and care that went into making the trip so special for my mom, my sisters and me.

I had already become interested in learning more about our Polish heritage before the trip, and our time in Poland deepened that interest even more. Seeing the places connected to my family, learning more about Poland’s history and culture, and experiencing the country firsthand gave me a much greater sense of connection to our heritage. I came home wanting to learn even more, including a little of the Polish language! The experience has also inspired me to start exploring my husband’s family history. I think you may have created a genealogy enthusiast!

Please extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make our trip so memorable, particularly Zbigniew, whose warmth, knowledge and good humor made our travels together such a pleasure. I know my mom especially enjoyed getting to know him, and it was wonderful to hear that he enjoyed getting to know her as well.

Zenon was fantastic. He clearly cared like a founder/owner, and was always prioritizing his clients over self. His expertise and adaptability paid off for us several times: from adding a drive-by research opportunity to the itinerary capitalizing on new information about our great grandmother we received only days before the tour, to incorporating a substitute open air museum when the one we had planned to visit was termporarily closed with little notice. PO’s pre-tour research was able to correct, confirm and greatly expand branches of the family tree we had assembled over the last several years. We got to see firsthand the villages where our great grandparents were raised, and were able to meet with and establish relationships with cousins still living in “the motherland.” I’ve already exchanged follow-on emails with our “new” Polish cousins, and look forward to building on these relationships. Aleksander was exceptional in communicating the plans as they evolved, adapting to changes that we or the pre-tour research dictated, and even handling emergent issues such as the unscheduled closing of the open air museum in Sanok. All methods of communication, from email to SMS/whatsapp and phone calls worked quickly and efficiently. The PDF documents for research and itinerary were clear, and the registration/billing processes all worked smoothly.

Mateusz was friendly and professional from the moment that we met him and all throughout the tour. He offered great suggestions and always made sure that we were satisfied and visited the places that were most important to me. He stopped to buy candles for me to place at the cemeteries and small memorial in each town. I would have never thought to do this prior to coming to Poland. This small act of placing candles at sites where my ancestors were buried and in villages where they lived became very important to me. Meeting my relatives and going to the villages where my relatives were born and the cemeteries where they were buried brought my genealogy to life for me. I have found in the last week, since I have been home, that I look at documents with names of villages or churches that are listed, I think yes, I know that place and I have been there. It all makes much more sense to me.

The tour that you prepared for us exceeded all of our expectations. We could not be happier about our genealogy experience and the fact that you were able to tailor a trip into Slovakia demonstrates that you are customer focused and not just creating a “canned off- the- shelf” tour. Our guide made the tour even more special. His knowledge of the history of Poland and the areas that we visited provided additional insight for us.

Zbigniew was amazing! He asked questions that got us from not interested in helping to “what more do you need” He was always aware of our needs and handled them perfectly with much patience!I was able to meet relatives and fill in some blanks. And, I walked the land where my grandparents were born prior to leaving for the US.

Our guide was excellent. He found more living descendants than we had expected to meet and was personable, easy to communicate with, and deeply passionate about his work.
