Your payment for the videos indicates that you have read, understand, accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use of the Polish Genealogy Academy by PolishOrigins.

1. Definitions:
For the purposes of these Terms of Use, the following definitions are used:
1.1 Administrator: PolishOrigins is the trade name owned by INPASSA Zenon Znamirowski. You can read full company info here: https://polishorigins.com/company-info/ .
1.2 User – a person using the platform
1.3 Platform – Polish Genealogy Academy website, which is available at the address: https://polishorigins.com/academy/,
2. General terms:
2.1. On the platform we provide the educational videos and other materials. Some of them are free, some have to be purchased by the Users.
2.2 The access time to the purchased videos is unlimited, but we reserve rights to modify this rule.
2.3 To use the Platform it is not necessary to meet any special technical conditions by the computer or other device. The following are sufficient:
- access to the internet
- standard operating system (Windows, Android, macOS etc.)
- standard internet browser
- having an active email address and registering on the PolishOrigins Forum
2.4 The administrator takes necessary steps to ensure that the Platform functions properly. The User should inform the Administrator about any irregularities or interruptions in the functioning of the Platform.
2.5 Any complaints related to the functioning of the Platform, may be submitted via e-mail to the address: DO WPISANIA. In the complaint, the User should provide the name and surname, as well as the type and date of irregularities related to the functioning of the Platform. The administrator will respond to the complaint within 30 days of its receipt.
2.6 Those regulations are valid from 19 November, 2020.
2.7 We reserve the right at any time and at our sole discretion to modify these Terms and Conditions of Use. Modifications will be posted online or communicated to Users via email.
3. Using of the Platform:
3.1. In order to take advantage of the educational materials (except free videos), the User must log in to his account, which was created for him.
3.2. The buyer is obliged to use the platform in accordance with the law, the Terms of Use and good manners, in particular:
- use the Platform in a way that does not interfere with the use of the platform by other users, does not violate any rights, goods or interests of third parties, which does not adversely affect the functioning of the Platform, especially through the use of malicious software,
- not to provide access data to your account on the Platform to any third parties,
- not to distribute the courses available on the Platform or their individual fragments without the prior consent of the Administrator.
3.3. In the event of using the Platform in a manner inconsistent with the above rules, the Administrator reserves the right to block the User’s access to the Platform.
4. Intellectual Property Rights:
4.1 The Administrator hereby instructs the User that the content available on the Platform’s pages are our intellectual property within the meaning of the Act of February 4, 1994 on copyright and related rights, to which the Administrator is entitled.
4.2 Sharing and distribution of the content by the User without the Administrator’s consent, except for using the content as part of permitted personal use, constitutes an infringement of the Administrator’s copyright and may result in civil or criminal liability.
5. Fees and Payments
5.1 We accept only electronic payments (via platforms for online/card payments: PayPal or bank transfer if there are no intermediary costs on our side) in Polish zlotys.
6. Privacy Policy and Cookies
6.1 On our website we use cookies. By using our website without changing the browser settings you agree to use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
