We cannot say enough good things about Lucjan Cichocki! He was very knowledgeable in the best way to do research for Polish sources, which proved invaluable. Eg. being bold enough to knock on the priest’s door or the village leader’s door to ask for what we wanted, or to call up our cousin and ask for a meeting. His knowledge of what would and would not work in the rectory, the archive, on the village street was great. On top of everything else, he’s was also a very interesting travelling companion, and we never ran out of things to talk about during our tour (not just genealogy). Dziękuję, Lucjan!
