This is our last day. We were up early for breakfast and out to see the curator of the Nowy Zmidgrod museum. He had gathered books, post cards, pamphlets and anything he could find that showed the history of the area. He told us that our great grandfather and his father were tailors who had a shop in the stores across from our hotel. He also walked us down to the street where their house used to be. How great was that!
We had to be on our way back to Rzeszow for our final night in Poland and somehow we managed to pack everything into the SUV. We said our good-byes to Zenon and tried to express to him what a fantastic time we had on this trip.
He’s a gem! This was one of the best trips I have ever taken. We had so many laughs and smiles together ? it was joyous.
